Four rules for restyling a kitchen
Clear the counters down to two or three objects
A kettle, a chopping board, a bowl of lemons, and nothing else. Nothing changes how a kitchen feels faster than empty counters, and nothing is cheaper: it is the one kitchen renovation that costs an afternoon.
Make the table the focal point
The dining table or breakfast corner is where a kitchen earns its warmth: a runner, a low bowl, two chairs that invite you to sit down. Dress the table, leave the units alone, and the whole room reads as a place to live rather than a place to cook.
Warm lamplight over the cold ceiling light
One warm pendant over the table and soft light on the worktop turn the same kitchen from a workspace into an evening at home. The single cold ceiling light most kitchens live under flattens every surface it touches.
Pick one accent, not five

Kitchen styles: common questions
Does the AI change my cabinets or appliances?
No. The fixed kitchen stays exactly as photographed: cabinets, worktops, appliances, tiles and layout, along with walls, windows and the camera angle. Is decluttering alone enough for a kitchen?
Often, yes; more than in any other room. Empty counters change a kitchen more than new decor does, and if the kitchen underneath is decent, decluttering can carry the room on its own. A render of your kitchen simply decluttered is often the most surprising image of the set, and an honest test of whether you need to spend anything at all.
Can I preview several styles on my kitchen for free?
